Nothing open yet
The first project has not been published. A cycle appears here once a farm has been approved and its terms are set.
Checked farms
Every farm is vetted and the checks are kept, not a portfolio of loans.
Transparent reporting
Revenue and expenses published for every financial period.
Secure investor accounts
Verified accounts with reviewed bank detail changes.
Capital released in tranches
Held here and paid to the farm against verified milestones.
Figures are placeholder values for development and do not describe a real operation.

Month 0 to settlement
Every project follows the same eight stages, from the day the chicks are placed to the day the flock is sold and the project is settled. Your investment sits somewhere on this line at all times, and the app tells you where.
Funding
Month 0
Capital is raised against the project target before any birds are bought.
Your participation percentage is fixed when your investment is confirmed.
Bird acquisition
Month 0
Day-old chicks are bought from the hatchery and placed in the brooder house.
Capital is deployed. The batch is recorded with its supplier and placement count.
Growing
Months 1–4
The flock is reared through brooding and grow-out. Feed, vaccination and mortality are recorded daily.
No revenue yet. Costs are recorded against the project and reported to you.
Your participation
Your participation percentage is your capital divided by the project capital. It is calculated by the system, fixed when your investment is confirmed, and used for every distribution the project makes.
It does not change when other investors join, and it is not a promise of a return.
See open projectsThe worked example appears here once a project is open, calculated against that project’s real capital rather than an invented one.
From the farm
Before you invest
Disease, mortality, feed price movement and the market price of eggs and spent birds all affect what a project earns. A period that records a loss makes no distribution. Committed capital is settled from the proceeds of the flock sale after approved adjustments, and a poor cycle can return less than the amount invested.
Read the risk information →Caging
Around month 4
Point-of-lay birds are moved from the grow-out house into layer cages.
The flock is in position to begin production. Population is re-counted on transfer.
Production begins
Months 5–6
Lay starts and climbs as the flock comes into peak production.
Revenue starts being recorded, but the period may not yet be distributable.
Production
Month 6 onward
The flock holds production. Eggs are graded and sold; feed and health costs continue.
Where a period is profitable, an operating distribution is calculated on your participation.
Flock sale
End of cycle
The flock is sold at the end of its productive life and the sale is documented.
Sale proceeds are recorded as a separate financial event from monthly distributions.
Final settlement
After the sale
Proceeds are reconciled against approved adjustments and the project is closed.
Your share of the amount available for settlement is calculated and paid.
